What was once Lakeside Marine and then Johnson Lake Marine lately has looked more like a boat graveyard than a thriving boat shop. Abandoned boats, old cars and weeds have taken over in recent years. Lots of things have contributed to that, the most prevalent being my dad's health problems that started in 2014 and led to three major surgeries in 2017.
While dad continues to recover, I found a couple friends who are excited about helping me get this place cleaned up. Our hope is to not just restore the business to what it was, but start a whole new chapter. We know that Johnson Lake residents would greatly benefit from a friendly boat shop that you can depend on.
